Whether you need a first hearing test, modern hearing aids, custom ear protection or in-ear monitors — we take the time to get it right, without corporate targets and without time pressure.

Costs & insurance
Hearing aids from €0 with statutory insurance
With a doctor's prescription, German statutory health insurance covers a fully digital hearing aid at no extra cost. We handle the billing for you. Privately insured patients receive a detailed invoice for their insurer.

Hoffnungsohr is owner-run: there is no call centre and no rotating staff. Master hearing care professional Johannes Penzel personally carries out your hearing test, fits your hearing aids and looks after you long term — in English or German.
